I’m a social scientist and civic technologist focused on democratic innovation, participatory governance, and how people make policy decisions together.

  • I’m especially excited to explore how technology can help communities make better collective decisions, bring more people into the process, and support thoughtful deliberation at scale.

  • Currently I'm a non-resident fellow at The Cornell Brooks Center on Global Democracy, and a research lead at the Oxford Computational Political Science Group, where I'm modeling deliberative decision-making as a collective choice mechanism under incomplete information and studying the effects of exposure to others’ arguments during deliberation.

  • In Spring 2026, I'll be teaching Civic Technology and Algorithms for Social Good at Bard College, NY.

  • Coming from Eastern Europe, I value democratic resilience and bring a few insights into the decline of civic institutions and how to invest in their durability. I’m open to data and policy consultancies and accept small pro-bono clients from Eastern Europe and Central Asia working to advance good governance and human rights.
