I focus on participatory and deliberative democracy. I'm particulary interested in identifying causal effects that citizens' assemblies have on participants, larger society, and institutions, and the frameworks that we can use to measure and understand these effects rigorously.
Currently, I’m a pre-doctoral fellow at the Data & Democracy Initiative at the University of Chicago’s Data Science Institute and a non-resident fellow at the Cornell Brooks Center on Global Democracy.
